Thomas Laureyssens bio

Thomas Laureyssens (1976) è artista, ricercatore e interaction-designer. Il suo lavoro, ispirato sulla cartografia e le interazioni umane nelle città, è stato dimostrato da Argos, Rhizome e Z33. E’ un insegnante e ricercatore di dottorato nel campo delle arti (MAD-facolty, FAK – KU Leuven) sui giochi e sugli interventi ludici per gli spazi urbani e su come questi possono essere utilizzati per sviluppare la socialità di un ambiente. Ha co-creato MAP-it, un toolkit partecipativo di mapping.

Thomas Laureyssens bio

Thomas Laureyssens (1976) is artist, researcher and interaction-designer. His work, inspired on cartography and human interactions in cities, was shown by Argos, Rhizome and Z33. He is a teacher and PhD researcher in the arts (MAD-faculty, FAK – KU Leuven) on games and ludic interventions for urban space, and how they can be used to create a more social environment. He co-created MAP-it, a participatory mapping toolkit.
